Trips and EventsFor me it is important to participate in events that allow my students to have experiences with Spanish outside the classroom. They are opportunities to experience Spanish in an authentic way and they are not obligatory, but highly recommended. NMU Spanish Day
Spanish Day is a morning of competition and different activities all in Spanish. The students that go have to participate in the competition and they have to be level 2 or higher.
https://www.nmu.edu/modernlanguages/spanish-day Spanish Nights at TechSpanish night is a series of activities put on for Spanish students at Michigan Tech. Students from the high school are welcomed to attend and will receive extra credit. Dates will be announced after the start of the semester.
